Belgaum: Rs 2 lakh worth marijuana seized

Belgaum: Police raided four separate places in the district and managed to seize marijuana costing approximately Rs 2.15 lakhs.
About 120 kilograms of marijuana worth Rs 1.20 lakhs was seized from Suttatti village within Kudachi police station limits. Lakkappa Satyappa Khota and Lakshmana Lakkappa Khota have been arrested.
Sagar Bharamanna Kattekar and Gurulinga Holeppadolli, residents of Jiragihal village in Maharashtra’s Jat taluk have been arrested for selling marijuana within Athani police station. 2 kilograms of marijuana worth Rs 39,000 was seized.
Shivappa Satyappa Shiragavi of Mugalakhoda village within Chikkodi police station was arrested for growing 17 kilograms of marijuana worth about Rs 36,000.
Mahantesh Ramanna Kaluti, a resident of Batakurki village, was arrested for selling marijuana within Savadatti police station limits. 872 grams marijuana worth Rs 17,000 was seized from him.
