Kalburgi: Man murdered over Rs 3000

Kalburgi: An incident in which a man was killed over a dispute of Rs 3000 occurred at the town’s Syed Galli.

The murdered was identified as Abdul Imshad (32).

Imshad lived and owned a shop at the town’s Roja layout. Four friends of his – Ravi, Bhima, Arun and Sharanu – lived in the same layout.

A few days ago, Imshad had borrowed Rs 3,000 from his friends. Later he had a quarrel with them over the issue.

The friends called Imshad on Friday night and took him away. At about 12:30 am, they attacked Imshad using sharp objects and killed him.

Inspector Aslam Basha of Roja Police Station and senior officers visited the site of the incident and inspected. Police have arrested two men and are conducting inquiries about two others who are absconding.
