Drug mafia: Compol conducts parade, warns of strict action against peddlers

Mangaluru: As the drug mafia controversy is slowly tightening noose, with CCB police arresting Ragini Dwivedi and few others, the City Commissioner of police Vikash Kumar on Monday, September 7 issued strict instructions to Ganja and Drug smugglers.
The police carried out a parade at the city’s police ground and warned the ganja and Drug peddling accused against committing any act in violation of the law. The police also told them that any further involvement of theirs will get them inside.
Over 100 accused from Mangaluru and Kasaragod were present during the parade. A parade of drug addicts will also be held at the same ground today evening, informed the police.
