Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut have been indulged in a war of words with each other on Twitter.
After Kangana Ranaut called Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s mindset “anti-women”, he responded with a tweet saying the party respects women and that those spreading “misinformation” had insulted Mumbai’s ruling deity Mumba Devi.
Kangana Ranaut, on September 6, posted a video on Twitter with caption “Sanjay Ji, I have full freedom of expression, I have the freedom to go anywhere in my country. I am free”
संजय जी मुझे अभिव्यक्ति की पूरी आज़ादी है
मुझे अपने देश में कहीं भी जाने की आज़ादी है ।
मैं आज़ाद हूँ । pic.twitter.com/773n8XDESI— Kangana Ranaut (@KanganaTeam) September 6, 2020
To which Sanjay Raut replied saying, “ Shiv Sena follows the ideology of great Hindutva icons Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the Great Maharana Pratap. They have taught us to respect women. But some malicious intent is spreading misinformation that Shiv Sena has insulted women. But one should not forget the fact that those making these allegations have themselves insulted Mumbai and our deity Mumba Devi. his is what our great Shiv Sena supremo has taught us”
