Bengaluru: A routine recovery exercise of the bank officials almost turned into a nightmare after a customer’s aggressive wife threatened to file a rape case against them and the video of the incident is doing rounds on the media platforms.
The WhatsApp video that has gone viral recently shows three-four middle-aged recovery officials from a bank abused and threatened by a customer’s aggressive wife. The lady apparently took umbrage to the manner in which the bank officials spoke with her husband and wanted them to apologize.
The conversation that took place between her husband and the bank officials is not captured in the video, however, she abusing the officials is clearly seen and heard.
In the video, one of the officials was seen almost falling at her feet when she uttered the ‘R’ word. As the lady is heard speaking in four languages — Tamil, English, Hindi, and Kannada, the location where this incident took place seems to be Bengaluru.
After the video of the incident went viral, a senior public sector bank official has suggested that just like a woman constable or a sub-inspector is a part of police teams, it could be a good idea to include a lady as part of banks’ recovery teams to avoid such incidents.
