Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Veer Savarkar’ flyover in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka.
The 400-metre long flyover, named after revolutionary freedom fighter Veer Savarkar was supposed to be inaugurated on May 28, the day also being the birth anniversary of the Hindutva ideologue. It was however postponed on account of the opposition by Congress and JD(S) in the state.

The inauguration was held this week as the term of the BBMP council is slated to end on September 10, said sources.
