Russian analysis and growth enterprise “Zvezda” began manufacturing of spacesuits for the Indian astronauts, who’re prone to be a part of India’s first manned area mission “Gaganyaan”,
Glavkosmos, a subsidiary of the Roscosmos, the space agency of the Russian federations announced about the recent developments on Monday, Sep 7
As reported by FirstPost, The contract for the production and delivery of individual equipment kits for Indian astronauts was signed by Glavkosmos and the HSC on March 11.
Four Indian Air Force fighter pilots are currently under training in Russia since 10 February, and likely to be the potential candidates for Gaganyaan project.
According to Indian Express, Zvezda is a Russian company which established in 1952 as Factory No. 918. The company primarily designs, develops and produces portable life support systems for aircraft and spacecraft crew
The systems created by “Zvezda” are successfully operated in thousands of military and civil aircraft and helicopters in Russia and abroad
It is said that “Zvezda” works in close co-operation with the Russian leading scientific and research institutes, design bureaus and serial production companies. “Zvezda” also takes an active part in international programs.
