DyCM Dr CN Ashwathnarayan launches ‘My NEP’

Bengaluru: State’s Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Higher Education Dr CN Ashwathnarayan launched the ‘My NEP’ competition on Friday, September 11 organised by Vidya Bharati.
The My NEP competition will involve handmade painting, meme-making, letters to the PM, speeches, essay compositions, short film making, digital designing and twitter thread compositions on four sub-themes – Bharat Centric Education, Holistic Education, Knowledge-Based Society and Quality Education.
The competition will be organised in three categories of 9-12 standard, second undergraduate & postgraduate and the Citizen Category.
All of these competitive activities will be completely online.
Speaking on the occasion Ashwathnarayan said that the new NEP coming after 34 years will be a huge game-changer and will redress the problems faced by the education system.
He added that Karnataka will become the first State to fully implement the NEP and will be a model to be replicated by other States.
Minister of Primary and Secondary Education and Sakala S Suresh Kumar, Professor MK Shridhar, MS Kiran Mazumdar, Dr Venugopal KR, and Mohan Magnani were also present during the event.
