Mumbai: In the midst of the ongoing tussle between Shiv Sena and Kangana Ranaut, the actress on Saturday shared a meme sent to her in which Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is depicted as Ravana with ten heads.

Taking to Twitter Ranaut said that she has received many memes, but the one sent by director Vivek Agnihotri made her emotional

“Received many memes, this one sent by my friend @vivekagnihotri ji made me emotional,” actor Kangana Ranaut said in her tweet while sharing the illustration, in which Shivaji Maharaj can be seen giving a sword to her.

The post in Marathi reads, “I will follow the footsteps of Laxmibai and Veer Shivaji. Even if they try to threaten me I will move ahead with courage. Jay Hind, Jay Maharashtra.”

A controversy erupted after Kangana compared Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after Sena MP Sanjay Raut asked her not to return to India’s financial capital. Raut went to the extent of using a cuss word for Ranaut following which the actress reiterated that she would come back to Mumbai on September 9.

What followed was the demolition of her office in Mumbai by civic body Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

After the demolition, Ranaut publicly criticised the Maharashtra CM.
