K’taka COVID-19 update: 9140 new cases; 9557 discharges; 94 deaths on Sep 11

Bengaluru: On September 11, 9,140 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 9,557 people who recovered from the virus and 94 deaths due to the virus.

The new figures have increased the State’s tally of total positive cases reported till date to 4,49,551 and total COVID-19 deaths to 7,161.

Presently, active cases in the State are 97,815 out of which 795 are undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Units.

Districts that reported high incidences of COVID-19 cases in the day are Bengaluru Urban 3,552, Mysuru 637, Dakshina Kannada 401, Ballari 366, Hassana 324, Tumakuru 304, Davanagere 267, Dharwad 239, Chitradurga 227, Kalaburagi 222, Haveri 213, Bengaluru Rural 211, Belagavi 201, Mandya 193, Bagalakote 175, Udupi 169, Chikkamagaluru 159 and Udupi 169.
