Sandalwood drugs case: Actress Ragini given 14-day judicial custody; sent to Central Prison

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi, arrested in the drugs procurement and consumption case, has been sent to 14-day judicial custody.
On the last of police custody, Central Crime Branch (CCB) police officials brought all the accused to the 1st ACMM Court here. The court then ordered 14 days in judicial custody for Ragini.
The actress is due to be remanded in judicial custody till September 27 in Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara here.
Prashant Ranka, the accused number 4 in the case, has also been given 14 days in judicial custody.
The CCB which is investigating the Sandalwood drugs case had arrested actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjana Galrani after raiding and searching their homes earlier.
