CCB notice to Actors Diganth, Aindrita Ray in Sandalwood drug case

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials probing the drug abuse in Sandalwood industry on Tuesday issued a notice to actors Diganth and Aindrita Ray asking them to appear for questioning on Wednesday around 11 am.

Notably, Diganth is the first male actor from Sandalwood to be summoned in the case.

The police have made several arrests including actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani. Earlier today CCB conducted search at the residence of Aditya Alva, the son of former minister Late Jeevaral Alva and also the brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.

Sources informed that the couple would be interrogated about their contacts with the accused persons including Viren Khanna, Ravi Shankar, Rahul Thonse.
