Udta Bollywood: Karan Johar’s house party video to be probed by NCB

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), investigating the drugs angle in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, has reportedly begun a probe into an old party video of Bollywood celebrities which had gone viral back in 2019.
The NCB, sources said would initially examine the authenticity of the video and further proceeding would be initiated if it is found to be genuine.
The video in question happens to be of a party hosted at Karan Johar’s residence which he had shared on social media in July 2019. Bollywood A-listers namely Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and others were present at the party.
Recently Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa filed a complaint to the DG of NCB alleging that “drugs were used” by those who attended the party.
“I met Sh. Rakesh Asthana, Chief of @narcoticsbureauat BSF headquarter, Delhi regarding submission of complaint for investigation & action against film Producer @karanjohar & others for organizing drug party at his residence in Mumbai That party video must be investigated into!,” tweeted Sirsa while sharing the details of his complaint.
