Mangaluru: Cheetah at Pilikula Nisargadhama undergoes surgery

Mangaluru: An eight-year-old female cheetah, named Chintu, that was suffering from problems with its pregnancy underwent surgery here a statement released from the Pilikula Nisargadhama biological park said.
Two dead cubs were removed from Chintu’s womb during the surgery. She is now recovering, the statement added
The surgery was performed by the park’s medical officers Dr Vishnudutt and Dr Yashashvi. Chintu was brought to the park eight years ago when she was rescued from near Moodabidri, the statement said.
