K’taka COVID-19 update: State’s total tally crosses 5L mark with 8626 new cases on Sep 17

Bengaluru: On September 17, the State recorded 8,626 new cases along with 10,949 discharges of recovered people and 179 deaths.

The State’s total number of COVID-19 cases has now crossed 5 lakhs and stands at 5,02,982.

Active cases number 1,01,129 out of which 814 are undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Units.

Total death toll in the State now stands at 7,808.

Districts that reported high cases of COVID-19 includes Bengaluru Urban 3,623, Mysuru 600, Dakshina Kannada 456, Udupi 493, Ballari 296, Shivamogga 257, Belagavi 221, Tumakuru 208, Uttara Kannada 181, Kalaburagi 179, Koppala 176, Hassana 173 and Davanagere 146.
