K’taka COVID-19 update: 8364 new cases, 10815 discharges, 114 deaths on Sep 18

Bengaluru: On September 18, across the State, 8,364 new cases of COVID-19 were reported along with discharges of 10,815 people after recovering from the virus and 114 virus-related deaths.

The total number of cases recorded in the State till date is 5,11,346, out of these 98,564 cases are active and under treatment.

The total death toll of the State due to the virus is 7,922.

Districts that reported a high number of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 3,733, Mysuru 626, Dakshina Kannada 432, Gadag 391, Ballari 300, Dharwad 264, Udupi 215, Bengaluru Rural 189, Chikkamagaluru 165 and Davanagere 163.
