M’luru Drugs case: Kishore Shetty, Aqeel Nausheel remanded to 7 days police custody

Mangaluru: Actor-dancer Kishore Shetty (30) and Aqeel Nausheel (28) have been remanded to seven days police custody by a judge here. The duo was arrested on the charges of drug trafficking and consumption.
The police had produced them before the judge at his residence on Sunday, September 20 after which the police took them into custody.
The duo was subjected to a coronavirus test on Sunday and the result is expected on Monday, if they test positive, treatment will have to be provided as per the government norms. However, until the test result is received, the police personnel will not be able to resume questioning on a full scale.
Reportedly, Kishore had returned to the city a few months back and during the preliminary questioning revealed that in spite of being a drug addict himself, he began drugs business only recently.
