Taj Mahal reopens for public after six months: All you need to know

The Taj Mahal in Agra reopened this morning with Covid-19 safety guidelines after being shut for tourists for over six months.
The entire area was sanitised before the doors opened at 8am and all officials were seen wearing masks and face shields
As reported by HT, It will now allow only 5,000 visitors daily and enforce Covid-19 safety measures as cases spike in India. The visitors will be allowed in two slots: pre-lunch and post-lunch. Time slots will be given to all the licensed photographers
Also,There will be no window ticket sale, ticket sales will take place online and first tickets of first slots will be sold, once all 2,500 tickets are exhausted, then the remaining 2,500 tickets for the second slot will be put on sale.
It is said that there would be temperature checks at the entrance, and visitors would be asked to use digital payment methods to buy tickets.
Taj Mahal will remain closed on Friday, as well as Sunday, the weekly restriction day across the state
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans will remain at a distance and check visitors with hand-held metal detectors. Also, an ambulance would be ready at the gates
