Sandalwood drug racket: Television actors Geetha Bhat, Abhishek Das appear in front of ISD police for inquiry

Bengaluru: Bramhagantu actress Geetha Bharathi Bhat and Gattimela actor Abhishek Das on Tuesday, September 22 appeared before ISD police for inquiry with regard to the Sandalwood drug racket.

The duo arrived around the same time. They spoke to the media and assured that they were there only as part of an inquiry and nothing more.

Addressing presspersons before going in for his inquiry session with the DySP at the ISD office, Abhishek said, “I have been called on for an inquiry and I am here to cooperate with them for all the questioning. I will share whatever information they seek from me. I have done nothing wrong and I am here for an inquiry and not as an inquiry.”

So far, actor Yogish aka Loose Maada Yogi, cricketer and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant NC Aiyappa, brother of popular actress Prema and a few television stars have been called for questioning.
