Bengaluru: On September 23, the Karnataka assembly passed the amendment to the Agricultural Produce Market Committee Act amidst furore by opposition parties.
Karnataka Rajya Raita Sangha president Kodihalli Chandrashekhar said that a State-wide bandh will be held on Monday, September 28.
“We are totally against this anti-farmer law. It is a complete lie that this amendment will help the farmers. We will hold rallies at every part of the State on Friday (September 25),” stated Chandrashekhar.
