Bengaluru: Taking a jibe at the opposition, Chief Minister S Yediyurappa on Friday said that Congress is boosting his confidence by moving the no-confidence motion

“Let Congress move a no-confidence motion every six months, it will boost my confidence,” Yediyurappa told reporters.

The opposition Congress in Karnataka on Thursday gave a notice to initiate a no-confidence motion against the B S Yediyurappa-led BJP government, citing corruption in the government and a growing financial burden.

On issue of farmers’ protests, he said, “I will discuss the issue with the farmers. The land reforms act will not harm anybody. The act mentions that those who buy land for agriculture must use it accordingly. Only 2 percent of the land is used for Industrial purposes in our state”
