Moodabidri: Valvadi gram panchayat building catches fire

Moodabidri: A fire broke out in the panchayat building of Valvadi village in Moodabidri at 5:45 pm on Friday, September 25.

The fire is reported to have been caused by an electric short circuit. Firefighters were immediately called in immediately after the fire broke out.

No damage was done to life and documents stored in the building were also safe.

The fire has cost an estimated Rs 2 lakh loss, Panchayat PDO Shekhar said.
