Over the years IPL fans have seen some brilliant fielding efforts from cricketers around the world, On Sunday, September 27 night’s IPL fixture between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab was one of the most spectacular ones of this season.
Nicholas Pooran did something so extra-ordinary near the boundary line that even the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar couldn’t believe his eyes.
Kings XI Punjab Nicholas Pooran made a full-stretched dive in while hanging in the air as he held onto the ball before throwing it back outside the boundary line to save his team a vital six runs. This not only stopped a six but also prevented the Royals from getting four runs. However, surely couldn’t help Punjab send back a dangerous-looking Sanju Samson but his effort sent fans, former cricketers, and even film stars into a frenzy.
‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter wrote, “This is the best save I have seen in my life. Simply incredible!!.”
Commenting in Tulu on Sachin’s tweet Star sports wrote, “Che..yenchina feilding mareh! (What a fielding!)”
