Udupi: DC personally penalized people flouting Covid-19 rules

Udupi: Deputy commissioner (DC) of Udupi district, G Jagadeesha, led an operation on Wednesday September 30, against people violating COVID norms.
He was assisted by traffic police and other department officials. They fined those who were found to be not wearing masks
He also cautioned that even more stringent action will be taken in the coming days. A total fine of Rs 7,55,650 has been collected so far in the district till September 29.
