Udupi: Power supply to be disconnected if consumers don’t pay electricity bill

Udupi: The state energy department had announced that during the month of April, May and June, there will be no power cut even if consumers did not pay the dues.
But, now the Mescom is urging consumers to pay their dues as it has incurred huge losses during monsoon. It has also announced that those who do not pay the dues will have their power supply disconnected
It is said that Mescom has to receive around Rs 27.8 Cr from 3,87,104 consumers of the district
