Bengaluru: Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda stated that though agriculture is under the purview of the State, the Center can provide assistance.
Speaking at a news conference in Vikas Soudha, Gowda said that the Farmer (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020 and the Farmer’s Produce Trade and Commerce(Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 are in favour of the country’s farmers.
He added that they do not fear the propaganda being spread by the Congress against these laws.
