K’taka COVID-19 update: 8793 new cases, 7094 discharges, 125 deaths on Oct 1

Bengaluru: On October 1, 8,793 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State.

On the same day, 7094 recoveries and 125 COVID-19-related deaths also occurred.

The total number of cases reported in the State has now risen to 6,20,630 out of which 1,11,986 are active and 9,119 dead.

Districts with high incidences of COVID-19 cases on the same day are Bengaluru Urban 4,259, Tumakuru 405, Dakshina Kannada 322, Hassana 315, Shivamogga 307, Bengaluru Rural 298, Ballari 262 and Mandya 257.
