CBI raids: Mithun Rai, several others detained for holding protest in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The district Youth Congress president Mithun Rai and several other leaders were detained by the police personnel for holding protests without permission and violating COVID regulations.
The district Youth Congress protested in front of the Congress office, Mallikatte, here on Monday, October 5 condemning the CBI raids on the residence of Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar and his brother DK Suresh.
The protest was held under the leadership of District Youth Congress president Mithun Rai. Protesters expressed anger against the central and state BJP governments, blocking the road and burning a tyre in between the road.
