Karnataka Edu Min Suresh Kumar COVID-19 positive

Bengaluru: State’s Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar has tested positive for COVID-19.
He tweeted about it on the evening of Monday, October 5 stating: “I have tested positive for COVID-19, hence I will be in home quarantine for a few days as per the advice of the physician. There is nothing to worry as I am asymptomatic.”
As per the data available with the State’s Department of Health and Family Welfare, on October 3, there were 1,15,574 active COVID-19 cases in Karnataka. The total tally stands at 6,40,661 cases and the death toll at 9,286.
