K’taka COVID-19 update: 9,613 new cases, 10,704 discharges 101 deaths on Oct 8

Bengaluru: 9,613 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State on October 8.  On the same day, 10,704 recoveries and 101 deaths also occurred.

Presently, there are 1,17,143 active cases in the State out of the total of 6,79,356 reported cases till date.

Districts that reported a high number of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 5,121, Tumakuru 504, Mysuru 642, Dakshina Kannada 296 and Udupi 239.
