Reprimanded for bad behaviour, teen hangs self

Mangaluru: A 13-year-old girl, allegedly killed herself after being reprimanded by her elder sisiter for beating other children while playing in Moodbidri here on Thursday, October 8.
The deceased, Pooja, daughter of Karunakara and Sushila couple allegedly hanged herself from a tree using a shawl.
On Thursday afternoon, Pooja’s sister scolded her for troubling other children following which she took the extreme step.
A case in this connection has been registered in Moodbidri police station.
