Mangaluru: 38-year-old woman commits suicide after feeding sleeping tablets to children

Mangaluru: A 38-year-old woman committed suicide after feeding sleeping tablets to her children and grandmother at Kankanady here on Saturday, October 10.

The deceased has been identified as Pramila, Shakti Nagar, Mangaluru.

As per sources, Parimala had fed sleeping tablets to the grandmother and children in the morning and the incident came to light when the grandmother woke up in the evening. Parimala’s ten-month-old child Aishani died in the hospital.

A death note was found and a dispute with the husband is suspected to be the reason for the suicide.

Kankanady police have registered a case with this regard and are investigating
