New Delhi: Actress Khushboo Sundar resigned from Congress on Monday, October 12 and is likely to join BJP today.

“Being pushed and suppressed,” said Khushboo in her resignation letter to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi

“Few elements seated at a higher level within the party, people who have no connectivity with the ground reality or public recognition are dictating terms and people like me who wanted to work for the party sincerely, are being pushed and suppressed,” her resignation letter read.

Following her resignation, Congress through a release dropped Khushboo from the post of AICC Spokesperson today “with immediate effect.”

Khushboo along with former Indian Revenue Services (IRS) Officer Saravana Kumar, who had taken voluntary retirement, will join the BJP at around 12:30 pm at an event in party headquarters in the national capital, informed sources.
