Vitla: The Kepu Shree Ullalthi (Durgaparameshwari) temple, where the famous Kajambu festival is held every year, was robbed early morning on Tuesday, October 13.

Thieves broke into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and stole a silver platter. They also broke the donation box and stole the cash in it.

The robbery came to light when devotees arrived at the temple. Seeing that there was a break-in at the temple they informed the temple priest and the police.
