Manipal: Man held for selling drugs to college students

Udupi: Police arrested a man on charges of selling drugs to Manipal college students here near Endpoint on RTO office road on Wednesday, October 14.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohmmed Fazal, a resident of Brahmavar. During questioning, he revealed that he along with his two friends – Farhan and Safa, both residents of Udupi used to procure the narcotic drugs online and later would sell them to students.
Based on credible information the police on Wednesday arrived at the spot and arrested Fazal. They also confiscated two mobile phones, 54 banned MDMA tablets, 30 grams of brown sugar, valuing over Rs four lakh. They also seized voter identity card, debit cards and intimation slip of the department of post India found in his possession.
A case in this regard is registered at Manipal police station.
