Mangaluru: Oil mixed with water is flowing out in Kuthethoor area near Surathkal in the outskirts of the city and has created panic among people of the village
The local suspects that the oil leaked from the Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve Ltd (ISPRL) facility is flowing with water here, however, the ISPRL officials who visited the spot denied the claim of oil leakage and clarified that this was not crude oil.
The is flowing in the land belonging to a local, Mayya Shetty, and the people started worrying about the possible adverse effects as the leaked oil is likely to get mixed with well, river, drinking water well, agricultural fields.
