Udupi: Two large stingrays were caught by a fishing boat here on October 21.
The stingrays, weighing 750 and 250 kilograms respectively, were caught by Subhas Salian’s ‘Nagasiddhi’ boat.
The fishes were was unloaded by crane at the fishing harbour here.
It was reported that these two are the largest fish caught this year and were sold for a good price.
Huge crowds gathered in the harbour to see these huge fishes in the net. A video showing these two stingrays has gone viral on social media.
