Kateel a caveman, send him back in BJP’s own interest: Siddaramaiah to BJP

Bengaluru: Likening BJP state president Nalin Kateel to a caveman, Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Wednesday said that in their own interest BJP must send him back to the caves.

The scathing attack from Siddaramaiah came in response to Kateel’s remarks that following the bypoll result, the former chief minister would be sent back to forest.

“For those who have not seen ancient cave dwelling wild men, here is @nalinkateel who is the exact replica of them. He is unfit to be in a civilised society. In the interest of their party and our state, @BJP4Karnataka should send him back to the caves,” said Siddaramaiah in a tweet.

In a series of tweets, Siddaramaiah went on to say that Kateel is spineless and can’t control his own party leaders who have been hinting at a rebellion against chief minister BS Yediyurappa. He even expressed doubt that Kateel is working towards ensuring BJP’s defeat in the bypolls and pin the blame for the electoral loss on BS Yediyurappa

Taking a jibe at Kateel while recalling what KS Eshwarappa had once told him Siddaramaiah said that Kateel should be asked to weep the floors of their party office for 10 more years to gain common sense.

“.@ikseshwarappa had once told that one has to sweep the floors of their party office to join their party. I think @nalinkateel should sweep 10 more years to gain some common sense. He is an immature fellow,” read the tweet.
