Mandya: Three leopard cubs were found in a sugarcane field at B Hosur village in the taluk here.

The field’s owner Vinay found the cubs when he went to his field on the morning of Sunday, October 31.

The villagers soon rescued the cubs and handed them over to forest officials.

The officials also set up a cage for the mother leopard who, they are assuming, had gone out to search for food and will return.
