Mangaluru: 70-year-old missing man found murdered

Mangaluru: A 70-year-old man who who went missing since two days were found dead on Sunday, November 1 morning.

The deceased has been identified as Palliaka alias Palliabba (70), a resident of Malar Arasthana of Pavoor village.

It is gathered that Palliaka was killed by a gang of ganja addicts, who buried in a hill near Ira.

Palliabba went missing on Thursday, October 29 evening and his mobile was ringing till the afternoon of Friday, October 30. His family members, who got suspicious after his phone was switched-off, grilled the two suspects after which the murder came to light.

It is gathered that the killing took place due to some issue related to money matters which was Rs 1.5 lac.

Konaje police have registered a case and are investigating further.
