Mangaluru: Reacting to the tweet by Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah that after the by-elections Chief Minister Yediyurappa will lose his job, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi stated here that there is no such proposal before the government.

Joshi was speaking to reporters at the city’s airport on arrival for the State BJP’s executive meeting on November 5.

Joshi further stated that Chief Minister Yediyurappa was doing a good job and hence will continue as the chief minister.

Joshi also supported the statement by CT Ravi on banning religious conversions for marriage and said that after the statement by the Supreme Court various State governments are already taking action on it.

A law regarding it will be enacted in Karnataka, he added.
