Chennai: According to reports, former Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Sasikanth Senthil is all set to join the Congress on November 9.
Senthil will join the party at a function in New Delhi on Monday.
Senthil resigned as the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district in September 2019 and later from the civil services as a protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
Since then he has organised campaigns against the Narendra Modi-led central government in many parts of the country against the Act.
It was reported that Senthil will release a statement on his joining the Congress party.
