Dharwad: The court here rejected the CBI’s appeal to conduct a lie detection test of former minister Vinay Kulkarni, arrested in the Yogesh Gowda murder case.
CBI officials presented Kulkarni at the 2nd Additional District Court here through video conferencing after his 3-day CBI custody ended on November 9.
The court also remanded Kulkarni to 14-day judicial custody till November 23 as the CBI had not filed any plea for the extension of his custody with them for further investigation nor did Kulkarni’s lawyer file a bail application for him.
