More than 400 appear for online language test in Tulu script

Mangaluru: More than 400 people appeared in the second phase of the online language test in the Tulu script conducted by the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Akademi (Karnataka Tulu Literary Academy) and Jai Tulunadu.

People who appeared for this phase of the online test included physicians, engineers, scientists, teachers, students, daily wage workers.

5 people 100/100 in the test, while 15 scored 99/100 and 16 98/100.

The Akademi along with the Jai Tulunadu oraganisation conducts online Tulu script learning classes.

In a release, president of Jai Tulunadu Sudarshan Surathkal said that Tulu-speakers and lovers from Maharastra, Gujarat, Delhi, Arab countries, America, Australia, Israel and many other countries and parts of India seek admission for the online Tulu language and script learning course and appear for the online test.
