Kottigehara: A pre-wedding photoshoot was conducted on a dangerous cliff in Rani Jhari on Tuesday, November 24 without permission from the Forest Department.
This incident, which comes only after a few weeks since a couple drowned during a pre-wedding photoshoot after the coracle they were in capsized near Mysuru, has raised a lot of objections.
Especially, as the Forest Department has still not taken any action against the organisers of the Ranijhari photoshoot.
Permission from the department is required to enter the Rani Jhari Range, Devaramane and the reserve forest around Charmadi Ghat.
Yasin, a forest officer stated that the crew did not seek any permission from the Forest Department for their photoshoot. As the Rani Jhari cliff is too dangerous, permissions are not provided for such activities.
