Mangaluru: State government should form development authority for the Tulu and Kodava languages, said, B K Hariprasad,   Congress leader

Speaking at a Press Conference, Hariprasad said, “Tulu and Kodava speaking people have accepted Kannada as the official language. Also, many  people from these regions have contributed to the development of the state, which is why the state government should form development authorities for these two languages.”

Also, talking about the formation of the Maratha Development Authority and including Veerashaiva-Lingayat in the Other Backward Classes (OBC), he said, ”  CM B S Yediyurappa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi must provide reservations  on the basis of population and not the basis of caste”
