Mangaluru: Police arrest 2 carrying Rs 3.5 lakhs worth of marijuana

Mangaluru: Police here apprehended two drug peddlers who were moving more than 20 kilograms of marijuana worth almost Rs 3.5 lakhs in a car.

It was reported that the two were carrying the marijuana from Hyderabad to Kerala via Mangaluru.

The car was stopped and checked near the Adi Maroli Suryanarayana temple by the police and found the marijuana in the car.

Along with the marijuana, the police seized three mobile phones and the car from them.
