Bengaluru: The State Election Commission is organising the ‘Matadarara Patti Vishesha Parishkarane 2020’ (Voter List Revision 2021) from November 29 to December 13 across the State.

People above the age of 18 can enrol themselves in the electoral list and other voters who need to change their details in their voter card such as name, address or age can do so during this period.

All booth-level officers of the Commission have been instructed about the campaign. Many of them will be visiting the homes within the booths assigned to them. However, citizens should need not wait for the officer to visit their homes and can visit the booth office for name addition in the voter list or changes in their voter cards, informed Commission officials.

Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer of the Commission said: “This voter list revision campaign is being conducted keeping in mind young and Divyang voters. Ordinary voters too should take advantage of this campaign. Voting is the constitutional right of every citizen. To exercise that right every citizen must have their name in the voter list.”
