Belagavi: “Karnataka has never violated the law in the Mahadayi issue case. I will resign if they prove that we have done so,” Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi stated challenging Goa Chief Minister’s allegations.

Talking to reporters here on Monday, November 30, he said that Goa has been politicizing the Mahadayi issue since the beginning but we never cared about it.

He added that Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant’s accusation that Karnataka has created a scarcity of water by diverting the river is false and reiterated that he will resign if he proves his accusation.
