M’luru boat tragedy: We’re with families of deceased, says Kota after announcing Rs 6 lakh compensation

Mangaluru: District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Wednesday, visited the mortuary at Wenlock hospital where the bodies of the fisherman who died in the boat tragedy are kept and consoled the families of the deceased.
During his visit, the minister informed that the state government will release Rs six lakh compensation to the families of fishermen who died in the boat tragedy
“Rs 6 lakh will be given to the families of fishermen who died in the boat tragedy that occurred in deep-sea as per the direction of chief minister B S Yediyurappa,” he said.
“We are with the families of the deceased. I will try to get more compensation for them,” he added.
